I had been using a Tracfone for my cellphone and it was an older model smartphone. I only turned it on if I needed to make a call. I checked with my brother on Thanksgiving about cellphone networks and he told me about one called Ting that he uses for my nephews and SIL. He also could get a rebate for the referral(and I also got a rebate since I was referred).
So I checked it out the next day and they were having a Black Friday sale so I ordered one of the refurbished iPhone 5s models. It came today and I have spent time setting it up, charging it, adding apps and putting on its new case. I suppose that I will have to carry it around now like everyone else. Only I don't even make that many calls on my landline. : )
Maddie had her well cat check-up today and she was a good girl. She only hissed a little at the techs when they were sticking her with needles.
