I want to stare at a wall and do nothing

This is the busiest summer I’ve ever had. More like busiest time of my entire life. Working 35-40 hours a week and taking two classes is not easy. It’s pretty much work and school the whole day. All I can say is that I’m going to be happy when I’m done with Spanish. I’ve gone to school every summer since high school, I need a break for that soon.

On the flip side work is pretty cool, just long. I’m designing a motion graphic of a scale which is for a trailer they are sending off to HBO sometime soon. The only problem is I’ve only worked photos that have already been shot in Photoshop and don’t really know how to make graphics in Photoshop or Illustrator. Ironically I’ve been kind of getting the hang of After Effects after going through some of the Total Training tutorial series. I’m really liking graphics and post. I might throw down some cash and buy some books on the Adobe suites.

Speaking of nerdy things. I wonder how OSX runs on a P.C with the hack. I’ve been waiting for a while for the new G5 to come out mainly because of the new Intel chips which will be hella faster and also be able to run Window (Vista is supposed to be great). But if a regular P.C can run OSX for a fraction of the price and perhaps may even be faster, whats the point?

Apple claims 5% of the market share but its more like 2.8% because of the ever growing increase in PC sales. When it doesn’t matter if you have a P.C or Mac we will see if Apple is in this for the hardware or software game.
