Clay Shirkey's Web2.0 speech has ignited some untamed electrodes of brainmeat. Our entire society is now based upon the passivity of television, of radio, even of art. We have immense amounts of time we willingly sacrifice to the altar of passive consumption. All our modern architectures: government, gallup polls, ethics class readings, popular bands; they all exist to consume our time. To divert our minds from what is primally important. We must work to improve society, and all these institutions exist as treadmills to maintain the status quo and prevent that improvement.

Also, a two year old novel idea has finally cemented and rocketed into magical plausibility. My neuronal hurricanes shan't be denied.
