Tattoo Heaven!!
Joy oh fucking wonderous joy of joys!!! Last night a whole bunch of ideas all joined up in my head. It all started with the discovery of an apprentice tattooist looking for a pig of the guinea variety. Those who know, know that i'm partial to the odd tattoo or two, so finding someone that can work the magic for a relatively small fee is a godsend. (Considering the amount of work i'm thinking of getting done in the next year it is anyway!) The only problem I had was getting my designs onto me as a stencil that the budding ink monkey could then use to trace. Assuming that as an "apprentice" working out of her home she isnt likely to have a hectographic stencil maker (what they use in tat shops to make the stencils, doh!). This had me wondering what i could use to draw my design on me. I thought about all sorts of different pens but was a little dubious about the types of inks used and their safety etc (dont want the wrong ink under the skin) but then i stumbled upon hectographic pens! Now I know this wont mean shit to anyone else but i've had this problem drifting about in my mind since before christmas so it really is excellent to have found a solution!! Now I can draw whatever I want buzzed on me and the tattooist only has to trace over it, limiting the chance of fuck ups! woot
