today was amazing. Just...amazing. There really isn't any other way to explain it.
Went to classes, did the usual thing, whatever, had a good time at lunch with buddies from Japanese 202, then went to modern physics, had a discussion afterwards with the professor about classes to take in the future, and then...
Drove to Seattle at around 3 for a Lupe Fiasco concert at the UW.
All told i was probably gone for like 10-11 hours. The concert started at 7 with a bunch of opening acts, which were all pretty decent, especially this female MC named Chocolate, who had a band and backup singers and everything. She was pretty amazing, and definitely enjoyed that malik and i were trying to get the crowd going, but the crowd at UW was pretty lifeless, even during Lupe Fiasco, who they were all really huge fans of. Oh well. Lupe was good, but i didn't know a lot of the songs he played. Malik and i decided that he just doesn't know what his hits are, but whatever.
After the show we went and met Chocolate, who recognized us, and then drove back up to Bellingham. It's probably been 3 hours since the concert ended, and i still can't hear a goddamn thing, but i guess i'll sleep it off and im hoping i'll be ok for my 9am lab class tomorrow.
