The most perceptive among you (and those who have no lives and thus can keep track of this stuff) will note that this page has changed; I no longer link to my other blog. There are some very good reasons for this, namely:
1. Whether I use the blog or not, I got the experience coding it and learned the language (Ruby).
2. It has too many bugs, security holes, and in general needs too much work to justify maintaining it. For example, I already figured out a way to let anyone who posts a comment display arbitrary html, which is a Bad Thing. If I was going to design a production-level blog, I would need to have a better framework with more classes, less class-wide variables, more error handling, and more security checks. I don't really see a reason to spend my time on that.
3. It takes a decent amount of effort just to maintain a web server I otherwise wouldn't need to.
So, in summary: Zaxer's Blog is dead. Long live Zaxer's Blog!
