If you read this title and a smile escaped your lips, either because you know where the lines are from or you appreciate this permuatation of words, let's be friends. Good friends.

I've been procrastinating posting because I wanted to declare on this space what a glorious weekend I had last week. I wanted every detail penned down and posted up, complete with pictures I snapped so I wouldn't forget but I haven't been able to find my camera cable or any time to churn out a long detailed post about how I really enjoyed myself. Then I had a great time this weekend so I'll just creolize entries on both weekends. In my next post. Haha I'm such a jerk sometimes.

In my rush to work this morning (as with 9/10 of all mornings) there was an angel scurrying up the escalator steps right in front of me. He resembled an angel in one aspect- he had wings. Not figurative unhealthy red bull wings but literal perspiration stained wings on his back. There was nothing else vaguely angelic about him. There really is no point to this story except- guys you are disgusting when you perspire please try not to do so in office attire or anything that will reveal two oddly shaped "wings" on your back. I kept my distance and spared my olfactory senses. In fact there are only so few occasions that I will tolerate BO/perspiration:
a) in swimming pools because the chlorinated water masks and engulfs all smells and stains
b) (rarely) if you're a dud with a smokin' bod and great shiny hair
c) picking up Samuel in the sea of nsf (this one I do purely and only because I love him more than I h8 smelly boys)
d) you're two seconds away from the showers and I can shove you in there

Speaking of undesirable excretions and my obstinate insistence on staying away from them, I decided to take a dip yesterday and do some laps to get some exercise before people start dragging me to walk/jog/run. It felt surprisingly refreshing and just really amazing being underwater and feeling the strain of my muscles and pushing myself to complete those laps. It's probably best I swim alone too, that way no one I know will laugh at my winnie the pooh goggles and there will no temptation to slack in the jacuzzi. I will probably need to get a proper bathing suit though..

Yknow on a completely unrelated note, I have concluded that my favourite pair of shoes has got to be the wedges I got from Auzzie. They're really comfortable, simple and elegant. I remember hesitating buying them cus they were in green and nothing goes with green..except green or purple if you're a jolly dinosaur and I didn't like donning on colours much back when I bought them. I'm glad I did though, and it has convinced me to add more green in my wardrobe haha. Oh I also procured a pair of fantastic white heels from Auzzie- can't remember where they are now, I should go dig em up or maybe just head to Auzzie again heh. O Australians how lucky are your feet! My most dreaded pair of shoes would unequivocally be my nude ballerina pumps flats from Bershka I got in Switzerland. They give me blisters all the time. Every single time I wear them out it's as though I have yet to "break into" them yet. Or maybe I just haven't found the perfect pair of flats till date. A lot of friends praise ferragamo's suede flats but meh I'm reluctant to spend more than 100 sgd on shoes I know the rain/my destructive tendencies will ruin. Any other suggestions?

Buying an instax from Maxine tomorrow so I can have photos of everyone before I leave for London! I'm going to be kiam about taking too many shots cus film isn't cheap though. This is a guide I'm gonna follow:
1 shot if you're a close friend
1 shot if you're pretty and I like your face
1 shot if you're going to be doing something whacky/crazy/spunky in the shot
2 shots if you fulfil more than one of the above criteria
