it took me about a minute to google it, convert it, resize it, re-convert it, and u/l it to the LJ filebase.

but I did it for the hippos. it was worth it.

I also got a chance to read the book "mas as prey." it rocks, since it gives the straight dish on animal attacks. the Tsavo lions were nothing... there was a tiger that was credited with over 400 human kills. that's a mean kitty.

and hippos? yeah. dangerous. fear them.

dude. were those 400 actual proven to be attributed to the tiger? if so, that *is* one mean kitty, and a pretty rare case. would make a good attack cat :) have you seen "brotherhood of the wolf"?

dont worry--im one hippo-fearin' woman--fuck this "god-fearin'" shit--he doesnt have teeth like that! :}

434 kills, one tiger. killed by John Corbett in the early 1900s (I think), it was the famous 'Champawat Tiger.' while he was in the area, Corbett took care of several other infamous cats (one of which was credited with another 400 or so kills, the 'Panar Leopard').

despite what one might think, Corbett was actually an ardent conservationist.
