The naivety of humans never ceases to astound amuse me.

I find it endearing at times.

It's mostly just funny to me.

I may ask a favor of you.

My victim has decided it's cute to lock me from his posts. Since you are near at hand, may I borrow your comm. device to view his little dramas?

Though my fascinating with him is beginning to pall. I suppose I built up a romantic ideal of breaking him down.

I don't see why not. There's no sense of pathetic right and wrong to stop me from allowing you.

Things rarely end up how they're planned out, unfortunately.

Merely a courtesy between friends, is that not so?

This is rather disappointing. I cannot touch Fai's true demeanor beneath his false behavior. I will not kill him unless he is worthy prey.

I've thought of torture. Do you suppose that might produce results?

Quite right.

It is always more satisfying to kill those worth your time. Infinitely more satisfying than a thousand worthless.

If done properly, yes. The human mind cracks under severe duress...their true colours should show.

My predecessor taught me the value of a worthwhile victim. Any person can die. I suppose each one is an object, but for the reaction one might receive from them.

Easily broken and forgotten. Ah, but this kill will come with a high cost. I would like it to be memorable, though perhaps it's nostalgic of me!

I am not unversed in torment. However, the kind I inflict is intended to be followed by death.

Would my friend find it insulting to be asked for ideas? It's hardly my style, but I shall let my curiosity outweigh that.

I kill rather indiscriminately for my sustenance, however finding a victim that will do what I wish...I suppose I have it easier normally; a suffocating charisma that few can resist.

A high cost, you say? I suppose it will make you too noticeable?

It's best to break the body and mind to break the spirit...Physical torment is the easiest way, but the most crushing blows are generally dealt to those closest to the victim. A lover, a beloved pet...things like that.

Life is a rather meaningless state. To end it is a simple matter, though I suppose one can acquire something of interest in those last moments of life.

Suffocating charisma? My, that is poetic of you.

I suppose this entire game is amusing due to such a love bond. Kurogane and Fai are beloveds, a fact denied by each one of them. Thus, the game is further complicated. However, this also lessens the power of such threats, weighed against that denial.

Perhaps if I speak them gently while I hurt him. It may fix my words beneath his intrepid demeanor, I should think.

Most scream and beg for their life...Other throw themselves willingly at my feet.

Is it? I didn't quite intend for it to be; it's the truth when I saw few humans can resist my natural charm.

Ah, but they are still close friends, regardless of their denial, correct? That could play very well into this whole hand. Speaking such soft words is generally the best way to dig in beneath the mask. A soft, almost gentle voice...

Which do you prefer? These also the most common reactions given to me, when I wish to take a life.

Ah. I missed your question about the price, my friend. Lets see. I suppose the publicity is a minor issue. However, my dear Subaru-kun will seek my life, should I take one. He's so very earnest--it's cute, really.

A charismatic killer is a bit much for terrified humans, I suppose.

You are correct. The two share a bond (though Fai, for reasons unknown, wishes to distance this state) and are close. I've attempted such threats and complications arose. So, I shall play with this new idea.

Ah yes. Once again, our thoughts match quite closely.

Would you like to watch?

It certainly makes it easier if they throw themselves at it. A struggling victim, though, can be very satisfying if I'm in the proper mood.

That boy really sounds like more trouble than he's worth, you know.

Watch? Hm...I think I would quite enjoy that.
