[Sale] Doujinshi Convention Pre-Orders: FKMT-Only Gambling Cruise

Greetings everyone! My name's Alicia and I’m a newcomer to the FKMT fandom; I started reading Kaiji and am totally hooked. Doujinshi is my other great passion and I’ve been honored to work with a few members of this community on doujinshi convention pre-orders. I’d been vaguely aware of FKMT before but Tokyo's Summer Comiket and Osaka's Super Comic

I have a different request, you wanna meet there and hang out?
The only event like this I've ever attended have been very like, gender neutral ones, Comitia, Wonderfest, so like I have a feeling I'd feel all awkward being the lone white guy there.

Any chance I could tag along? It'd mean alot yo!
Anyway if not I understand too, but here's hoping!
I'll probably go anyway, but it would be alot less awkward. XD

Howdy howdy! I have to admit, you'd be one of the few lone white guys I've seen at a doujinshi convention. *smiles*

I'm not always the most sociable person at these things (imagine a Border Collie tracking a flock of sheep) but after the shopping's over and done with I'd be glad to meet up and grab a cup of coffee if you'd like. ^_^

Oh that works too. Like, I'm trying to get my schools anime circle to schedule an event there now that I found out about it. I was actually hoping more to get some guidance on shopping at one, but if you're too busy I understand. Plus if I can get some help from one of my more talented friends that works too.
Eitherway if I end up going with the school circle then I'd still be interested in going for a coffee or something!

Your school's got an anime circle, how awesome! It would be neat to see a big group of people at a convention like this. And I'd love to take you around while I'm shopping, but I'm usually so focused on picking up clients' doujinshi, then the "house" titles that I'm not much use those first couple of hours...if you see a tall gaijin with a ponytail flying around the convention hall that'll be me. *grins wryly*

When it comes to actually shopping at the convention itself I can give you a couple of pointers:

1. Someone posted a map and circle list at the Cruise's Web site a few days ago--it's the 「サークルリスト」 link on the right side, below the FAQ button. Whoever put it together deserves a Texan-sized medal, because it's incredibly easy to look up circles and see what they're offering at the Cruise

If YOU see a really tall gaijin with a ponytail looking confused, it's all me!
We'll see how it goes then. I have no idea what I'm doing but I guess I'll find out!
I'll try to get into contact then maybe.

As a sidenote, the Akiba Donki has Kaiji shirts if you haven't gotten yours yet.

PS-How's the scanlation project coming along? Good onya for taking on such a formidable project...Fukumoto uses some crazy Japanese, ne!

way back burner right now,l school and all that. Instead I took on a 2 much easier projects. One is the polar opposite of Fukumoto, the other is at least Mahjong related.
