such is life
the johnston band competition was completley pointless. it was nice being able to see our show, but if we had gone to WASECA we could have seen our show too. stupid johnston... ya know if they had their anual "big trip" over urbandale contest, you KNOW they wouldn't be going to urbandale..... whatever man. that sucks. i do enjoy our show though. i think if we can clean things up we could do really well at valleyfest day competition at least. our ONE competition....
oh my goodness. so brad texted me today while we were at the band competition and was like "would you b e able to go to green day, or are you busy" ahh! it's TONIGHT, and i want to go really really bad, but i totally already made plans with other people and i haven't hung out with amelia/ hunter for a long time so i want to do that. i was like what??! such late notice, of course not!! grr. oh well.
my mom's freaking out cause we're going to the latino festival, and "the surrounding area's dangerous down there... maybe you should take some guys with you" blah blah blah. oh ok, cause they'll protect us from guns and the big burly type-muggers. pshh.
i'm getting bitched at because i've hung out with brad every weekend since schools' started. but i don't get to see him any other time!! and everyone else i can see during the week. and it's not like he's gonna come back every weekend for the rest of the year... he's just had lots of stuff to finish up, or to do here, and so it's convenient. i feel bad, but i also don't because i miss him like crazy, and i really just want to see him.....
tomorrow's the NCYL seminar thing. i'm kind of excited but kind of nervous. hmmmmm. we'll see i suppose!
