Hot and Clammy
Hey, happy vacation to me. I am currently in Maine on vacation visiting family. We had a few days of gorgeous weather and now it is a bit muggy. Not so much with the warm (nothin' compared to VA where my plants will be dying according to beanpot's assessment of the weather there), but lots with the humid. Just got back from our annual pilgrimage to Bob's Clam Hut in Kittery Maine. Wicked awesome fried seafood! If your headin' up this'a'way, you need to stop theyha.
And we also had real clam chowdah, not that thick touristy crap! (husband and I disagree as to which is the "real" clam chowder, but since I grew up here and he is, um, a mid Atlantic boy...I win!)
Now I must nap!
Oh, update, the truck is working now. Only a bit over $800 to fix.
