This was absolutely amazing, sweetie! I left you a longer, more in-depth review over at FF.net, but I thought I'd drop you a line here too. This fic is getting to be as great and as plot-twisty as Woods! Can't wait to read more!

Just wanted to say, I'm enjoying this story so much. I'm a sucker for the boys dealing with trauma, and I love how complex you've made both Sam and Dean's reactions to what Dean went through. And god...this chapter was pretty much a punch in the gut. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Wow, what a lovely thing to say! I thank you muchly! I’m really trying to show that they both are traumatized, albeit that Sam’s may be less profound… his reactions are complex too, but in a different way that will be followed up on in C10. I’m really pleased that is working for you! And I reckon this is the best chapter so far… punch in the gut is *exactly* what I was aiming for! Hope you will stop by again as story updates, dude… ;-)

That was really powerful and a really clever use of a wendigo being able to mimic :-)

You should have seen me when I remembered they were mimics… I nearly wept for joy. What a total gift! So nice to be able to take canon and extend it!

I don’t think I will ever outdo that chapter, *ever*. But I will try… ;-)

Just picture the scene when I remembered that wendigos were mimics… OMG I’m sure I turned handsprings! I consider it EK’s gift to me.

So glad you likey: I think it’s my best work so far on this story. There were a couple of moments with Woods when I felt a certain chapter just totally lifted it into the next realm and I feel that way about this chapter. Of course it makes it so much harder to do better next time but there are some twists and turns to come!

Will update Sunday with a cliffhanger that will leave everyone in a total panic, I’m sure… :-O

Oh, I´m sooo looking foreward - it´s an amazing ride you´re taking us along and I´m not even trying to foresee where it´s leading to, I love to be surprised and you do that so wonderfully....and when it´s all over (hopefully a long time from now) I`ll start immediately rereading it to experience the full impact in all its glory.
