Thank you muchly: I am assuming that is positive feedback!
Keep an eye peeled for lots of parallels with later season events in this as you read... I conceived it as a sort of 're-imagining' of Dean's Hell ordeal set within an episode tag [hence pitbulls mirroring what happens in NRftW] and as I wrote I opened it out to include callbacks to a lot of other things that have happened to both boys in Show... so in this chapter, the 'boy who turned to stone' is intended to mirror Sam in Mystery Spot and IKWYDLS and we also see early use of what might be demonic strength in the way he beats up the doc...
Flailing at the thought Dean is in the hands of psychotics. Swenson is totally lying through his teeth. The thought Sam was so close to his brother without knowing send me seething. And omg Dean doesn't know who he is? You are killing me here!
If you are a DeanGal into whump this story will leave you a twitching wreck in the corner. I can absolutely promise you that! Please do rec it wherever [and to whoever!] you can! ;-)
Hehe, I'm a self-proclaimed Dean!Girl alright. Die-hard actually. ;)
And I have to say Dean wears pain/hurt so beautifully that no one else can come close to compare! So yeah, *evil cackle* bring it on, Dean whumpage! And a concerned/protective Sam is extra extra bonus.
You bet I'm gonna rec this story as much as I can, even though I'm only on Chapter 4 now. It's time like this I wish I have a big flist. *sigh*
Over on FF the reviewers simultaneously loved and hated me for the whump and evol cliffhangers... you can read this in the knowledge there is another chapter but they had to wait three or four days for the next, *mwa-ha-ha-ha*...
