Of Carrots and Sticks (or, well, just sticks this time)
For various reasons, T has been told that there is a Thing He Must Do every morning when he wakes up. In the hopes of instilling this habit, we have informed him that anything he plays with, reads, etc., before doing the Thing He Must Do, will be taken away from him for 24 hours. We put this to the test for the first time this morning. "We heard you playing in the playroom. What were you playing with?"

*facepalm*
It's a dangerous thing, having smart kids. We couldn't even keep a straight face this time.
At least his brother was willing to give us a more removable answer. Divide-and-conquer still works. *whew*
