Yuletide 2023
Hi Barbie! Back at it again at the annual yuletide sign ups and I'm excited to jump in as well as give you ideas of what to write for me; this will currently be edited to make it in time for sign ups but hopefully, shouldn't take me too long.
Without further ado, the likes, do no wants and other misc items:
Likes: AUs, PWP, 4+1 style fic; found/made families; canon divergence and little character pieces in between larger plot points (like the aftermath of things); anything to do with slowburn/miscommunication/mutual-pining for ship things. Gen is always welcome! Worldbuilding is also a delight if you can make it work with the characters I've requested and explore the world they are in and how they interact with the world. I'm usually interested in the inner workings of characters, what makes them tick, what about their relationships with their chosen people make them better/worse. You can literally do almost anything and I would be overjoyed.
Do Not Wants: modern aus, cheating, omegaverse/knotting, non-con/rape, watersports, misogyny, character bashing, kid fic - acquiring or raising one is fine, but no pregnancy, incest, major character death that's not canonical.
Smut likes: light bondage (handcuffs, restraints made of material that should not be restraint, spanking), cunnilingus, leaving physical marks on each other in shows of possiveness, rough but tender sex, competency kink, figuring out sex together, eagerness to please + dirty talk, use (or misuse) of sex toys in different ways, femdom, men getting pegged, sexual fantasies, touch starved/touch deprived/touch driven, riding, and as always, UST that's been building up for a long time.

Monsterverse
characters requested: Mason Weaver, Jia, Ilene Andrews, Kong (Monsterverse)
The monsterverse movies are just hits - I love them, I love how there’s clearly more going on at play that can be played with by future installments but the bones of what is available is just fascinating to ponder on and play. You can play with past installments lore, you can go with deep cuts by referencing the stuff in the 40s - whatever you do, I am game for. I love the connection these separate women and girls have with Kong. Kaiju belong to girls, but none more so as clearly as Kong’s interactions with Mason, and Jia and then Ilene. Mason and Kong’s connection back around the 70s and whether or not Mason stayed after Monarch took them all in to send them back. Maybe even some Monarch worldbuilding - like what they were asking for at the end of Skull Island - if they sent the initial Skull Island team. I would love to read something about Kong too and their POV along with strangers in their fucking house, but the fact that he learns to communicate with Jia is so much! If you don’t want to do that, but would focus on the sequel stinger they had with Kong as King of the Hollow Earth and the continuing dynamic with Jia (and Ilene) there that would be fun.
Werewolf by Night

I love these characters so much! I love the pulpy feel of the special they released last year, and the color version and what I took out was I just love hanging out in the world of Werewolf by Night that’s more supernatural monster hunting than any superhero business - but sometimes the two intersect. I love Jack and the inclusion of his culture - anything regarding his stuff would be fun to read. I would also not mind reading about Jack and Ted’s relationship - anything about the first time they crossed paths? Jack and Elsa are also great and that beginning of that relationship is fun - if you wanna do something with them, I would be down for it. Love the idea of werewolf sex, but not into the omegaverse concept. I would also love anything with what Elsa does after she gets control of her family’s estate.
シン・仮面ライダー | Shin Kamen Rider
characters requested: Hiromi | Hachi Augment-01 (Shin Kamen Rider), Hongo Takeshi (Shin Kamen Rider), Ichimonji Hayato (Shin Kamen Rider), Midorikawa Ruriko (Shin Kamen Rider)
Shin Kamen Rider was such a delight to watch. It felt just like Kamen Rider, complete with the godawful pacing but the effects, the bug riders, it was all perfect! It needed more time! I basically want to know more about any of these characters in any of these permutations. I love whatever lesbian foe yay Hiromi and Ruriko had, as creations of her fathers as robots/artificial intelligence; I love Hongo and Hayato’s dynamic, and Hongo’s trauma and memory loss and how Hayato like doesn’t have that? He’s just there. I especially love the unit that arises between Hongo, Hayato, and Ruriko and also - when Hongo and Ruriko pass but they are with Hayato in the helmet always. So many possibilities!
Poirot (Movies - Branagh's Version)
characters requested: Xavier Bouc (Poirot Movies Branagh), Salome Otterbourne (Poirot Movies Branagh), Hercule Poirot (Poirot Movies Branagh)
Poirot is my sad detective man! I love how much love Branagh has for Poirot. I especially love the threads dropped in - how Bouc and Poirot are friends, the way that Bouc would always find where Poirot was. I am a big believer in Poirot being fluid, but with a preference for men. However in Nile, there was a vibe with Salome and I would not be disinterested in that. I would love either a glimpse of Poirot and Bouc’s stuff pre his death, I’d love anything post his death and how unmoored Poirot is - that dynamic is just tasty! I also loved the vibes between Salome and Poirot in Niles, and whether or not they spend some time together.
Ocean's 11

The ocean’s movies are another comfort series rewatch and I’ve seen it - so many times this year. I love the dynamics between Danny, Rusty and Tess and then Isabel. I especially love the layers between Danny and Rusty - pre series stuff is always good, same for Danny and Tess and their marriage before Danny’s sent to the slammer - as well as their post Ocean’s franchise. Danny, Tess and Rusty also a great ot3 that is great. Rusty and Isabel’s ! whole everything is so good. I love these combinations, but I would love anything you could come up with - the world of Ocean’s is just too good.
Hidden Legacy Series - Ilona Andrews
characters requested: Nevada Rogan, Connor "Mad" Rogan, Augustine Montgomery, Arabella Baylor
It’s been a minute but my favorite series! I love Hidden Legacy, I love Ilona Andrews, these guys are always in my head. I am always down to read about my favorite lethal marrieds Nevada and Connor, any post marriage stuff, any stuff with their kid! I know the reasoning for separating House Baylor from House Rogan - but I think there should be more interactions! I don’t think Connor or Nevada would have left them so defenseless or even cut off contact with her family even if it does make sense. I would also love any Nevada, Connor and Augustine stuff like why not. Augustine and Arabella are my favorite little crackship. I don’t care that there’s no feasible connection/ that they’re essentially written off even connecting but like I don’t care. In my head, they can get together. See past letters if you want any specific details lol.
