Related, a couple of the sellers from eBay have been remarkably helpful and put me on to a website where there are a number of other collectors. As a result of that, I found that book for reference and discovered that one of the regular contributors to that forum is actually publishing a Stasi specific book covering pins, commendations and medals that should be out in October. Sweet!
And now it's high time I get my butt in gear. Been slacking and poking the tubes and patting The Chinsu (tm) for far too long. Got running around to do.
