I'm not squeamish, but.....

Hungarian weightlifter Janos Baranyai dislocated his elbow during the Olympic competition. Badly. That's the worst thing I've seen in a very, very long time. OW. That poor man.

Best Week Ever has a video and pictures, but there's no way I'm linking to them.

Think I'll also avoid that show entirely this week. Ugh.

Saw that earlier, thought about linking, nah!

Even with the sound off I could hear the snap.

I was amused by all the Chinese girls showing up with the wall.

When I first saw it, I thought he had merely slipped and lost hold of the bar. Then I saw his arm. Ack.

I couldn't figure out if the WallKids™ were supposed to be protecting his privacy or preventing loss of face that someone had been injured.

After an intro like this, how could I *not* Google it?

But the only video link I could find (YouTube) has been taken down. I blame NBC!

I saw that and I cannot un-see it. It was horrific.

I have a friend that works as an EMT at the Arnold Classic here, and apparently that kind of injury happens at least once every year at the event. *shudder*

:( That's terrible. I didn't know this was an injury common to the "sport".

Dislocations and breaks, yeah, all too common. My friend once saw someone's lower leg *shatter* during one event.

I do not wish to see that.
I am the one that gets into accidents because, while driving, and encountering accidents, I cannot bear to see someone's pain, and I look rather too far in the other direction. Not squeamish, no, (believe me, not squeamish...) I just can't gawk at someone in pain. It hurts.
