Last week, while we were in Lancaster I picked up two smallish pumpkins (they probably weigh about 5 lbs each.) Thought I'd do something with them this afternoon. Searching RecipeZaar, I found a nice-looking recipe for
Pumpkin Risotto. Only one problem: I don't have risotto rice. I have no idea if it makes a difference. Enter Google:

Searching for pumpkin recipes turns up a ton of results that use the canned variety, but very few call for
fresh gourds. So, I'm making
Pumpkin Puree.
We'll see if this turns into a "Pumpkin Icident".
