I feel like the last couple of days of Mercury retrograde is always pretty rough, and that's only compounded by it being the second fucking week of December, which is a special kind of no-light hell in and of itself.
That said, things are going pretty damn well for the second week of December during a Mercury retrograde where Mars is ALSO retrograde.
Went outside today even though it was cold. Got at least one truly stellar photograph. Had to run errands, and they didn't even suck (that much) despite having to go into retail hell to do them. Ate a yummy lunch.
This has been a weird week - Christ is off from work to use up the last of his vacation time before the new year, and his being around all the time always messes up my routine. I scheduled myself pretty lightly as a result, but I'm actually still getting my work done. (albeit in a roundabout way)
I got some great news this week that I won't talk about here. But it made me gleefully happy, so there's that. I'm also reading a really fascinating book and have spent a ton of time playing around in the kitchen. I just finished this season's fire cider, the holiday bitters, plus a bunch of other fun food.
It is Fallowtide, after all.
Time to go inward and do things like read books and tinker around with new and fun recipes.
I'm pretty into that.
