If it took you an hour to fight something in morrowind its your own dumb fault. I was bashing critters and theiving from houses after 10 minutes. You can't blame morrowind for your not choosing to play it in a way you find fun. It just creates the world and sets you loose. What you do in it is completely up to you. They don't force you to talk to people in it you know. Some guy starts getting to chatty you can just stab him in the face.

I kept getting disoriented and was figuring things out. I don't play PC games much.

Someday I'll be level 2! :D I finally killed those dumb rats... Guess I have a goal for tommorow...

Yeah I remember that quest. I killed the rats then took all her pillows in her attic. I put them on the room near her house with the hatch on top.(its right beside the Main quest guy in Balmora. You have to jump to get on the roof or lockpick the front door then lock pick the hatch.) I built a sand bag style bunker up there and then killed her and took the last of her pillows. And thus began my game long obsession with pillows. I never did get the holy grail in that one place though. One day I'm going to buy that game for myself and get the blue pillow. And those stupid 4 gaurds will of course be slain for not letting me get my pillow.

Meanwhile, in some random place in the middle of nowhere, Zaron kills a maggot.

Go find and buy the spells for Mark and return. Its two seperate spells and you'll need both. Enchant a ring or other small object with the return/teleport spell. Find a safe place(best if it somewhere you can store lots of junk, you'll no doubt end up collecting.) and use the marking spell to set a place for return to take you. Then if you get in trouble use the ring and poof your safe. Spells take half as much time to cast when on an item. Plus it can't fail at casting. When your getting hit in the back of the head those extra seconds can be the difference between life and death.

... That would have been nice to know as something chased me from the middle of nowhere back to town and killed me on the bridge... I saw it's floating tail as the camera zoomed out to show my dead body. It was floating. A "Cliff"-something. I will no longer climb mountains.

I will, however, continue to wear the robe I mugged some thief for. First enemy I killed. Pimp robe. I need a hat that's not lame, tho... >.>
