You should def jump in as soon as possible while this lasts, there's no telling when it'll be this clean and clear again lol. I KEEP CHECKING EXPECTING THE BOTS TO BE BACK AND SO FAR, SO FAR EVERYONE IS STILL SAFE... FINGERS CROSSED...
Haha, I've seen your art on this subject! It's so wholesome when players, even from opposing teams, unite against the bots or help people who can't call for medic on their own. Human virtue keeps winning. |D

I don't play TF2 but I'm really happy for you and other players! I don't know if this bot-banning period can last forever but I hope that at least it'll never get as bad as before. Even seeing Valve put effort into it seems unbelievable, lol. This actually worked and it's so wonderful to hear!
IT IS even in an unplayable bot wasteland people refuse to give up and make little tiny connections, however brief. There's something beautiful about it to me.
IT WAS TOTAL CHAOS I think the bots were threatened by the petition but also emboldened by how much they felt they could get away with since Valve didn't react to it at all. So they just kept pushing boundaries in a "they'll never do anything about us anyway" kind of way. I didn't see any of the CP related stuff myself but i DID see screencaps, and it could have just led to a virus or whatever, I'm not going to check lol. Most of the bots I saw just spammed annoying things, like ads for their discord or general pony nonsense or just boasts about how they'd never get rid of the bots.
It got so weird! After a while I saw bots fighting and votekicking each other, it got surreal. I don't know what was going through the bothosters minds for some of it.
I really hope this lasts, I want to believe! And if it doesn't last then at least it not being as bad as before would be SOMEthing

I said it before but I'll say it again- it feels surreal! "SaveTF2 actually worked" sounds like a bizarre lie. I think it's because TF2 hasn't officially said anything that I have a hard time compartmentalizing it. SOME Twitter post or something would be nice.
It's too bad my hand is injured, I'd love to play again! Casual was always pretty fun for me when I could find a good match. I can draw but I don't want to tempt it with tons of clicking and gaming. Everyone go have fun without me!

That's great to hear. I recently redownloaded TF2 but have been hesitant to try and get back into it because of all of the horror stories I've heard.
