~You got cool all of a sudden, you're like... all dead inside
Ah, again off doing things, sorry. Long days and more medical stuff. I had a brief burst of inspiration (or is it motivation?) for a second but then it died back down again (I keep getting sidetracked by this stupid incremental shark game), but I'm trying to get little things done whenever I can. Tiny things are better than nothing, right?
Anyway, I drew some stuff but I'll post them later, maybe that'll give me more motivation to make another post soon. In the meantime, I have this cabinet by my computer where I keep things people give me, as well as a few doujin that for some reason aren't with the others in that one box in my room. I hadn't looked through the cabinet in ages, but I got curious after making the doujin page about what I had in there. Lo and behold, I found another LOTR doujin! I was pretty confused at first because I could've sworn I only had one (Gardener, it's great btw), but there it was. When and why did I get this? I wondered to myself. I then flipped through it and saw a little Legolas/Gimli comic, at which point I was like "Oh, that explains it."
So I thought hey, this is kind of short, this would be a good test to see how much easier updating the doujinshi page is now. And the answer is, WAY EASIER. Super simple, even! So maybe I'll scan more of these things I've got lying around instead of just sitting on them, who knows. It still takes a little bit to scan each one and it does mess up their spines a bit but eh, mint condition matters very little to me.
Anyway, it's up on the doujin page now if you want to pick up the zip, meaning LOTR now gets a collapsible section since it has more than one. It's called Ouji-sama no iu koto ni wa as far as I can tell. But I thought hey, might as well just post some loose pages here so you can see what's in it, if you don't want to download the zip file. It's just a gag doujin with a bunch of stupid jokes about Legolas hassling the fellowship, very PG with like ONE kiss that's played off as a joke (I think), so no worries on that front. I have a lot of G/PG doujin, come to think of it.
I'm lazy so the images are going to be bigger than I'd normally post here, the same size as in the zip, but eh. IF YOU HAVE A SANE RESOLUTION I ASSUME IT WILL NOT BOTHER YOU

And the back! I'm always kind of fascinated by doujin for Western things like LOTR and such. Like this one pixiv artist I stumbled on who did a ton of Phineas and Ferb art. That show has some pretty clever writing, how well did that translate over? What got lost in translation and what stayed consistent? Are there new things that weren't present before because of the translation? What aspects are more interesting to Japanese artists or writers? I just love fannish intersections like this.

while poking through my cabinet I was also surprised to find I had a Pokemon doujinshi I have no memory of ever acquiring. Where did I even get it??? Maybe I'll scan that one next.
