IT'S BEEN HOW MANY YEARS AND I STILL SHIP THESE TWO LOSERS MUCH TO THE BAFFLEMENT OF PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE it's just funny to me, idk. I think my favorite comment I ever got about it was something someone left on youtube on Mambolawyer, what was it, aha, "is the guy in orange shirt gay and does he like the homeless looking guy?" and that's it, that's the perfect summary

I came across this again while looking for the above chibi and was like HEY, I BET THIS WON'T TAKE ANY TIME TO COLOR, I COULD DO THAT
spent slightly more time on Edgeworth than I normally do, it was a great effort. It's so much easier for me now to draw Gumshoe's face properly, it was always so hard before and now it's like oh yeah I can do that face shape, no problem. IT'S HEARTENING TO ME, PAY ME NO MIND.

So I was looking for a certain Matt/Juan gen fic on the kinkmeme that i might have written cough and ended up flipping through a bunch of old prompts and found one for ladyMatt/ladyJuan hatesex and I was like HMM, YURI HATESEX, THAT'S INTERESTING and you already know the rest of the story. I'M NOT SAYING I WROTE IT BECAUSE IT WAS TOTALLY WRITTEN BY AN ANONYMOUS PERSON BUT I WAS INSPIRED BY IT TO DRAW THIS, DO YOU BUY THAT
(the worst part is that i actually may have made that prompt in the first place but i honestly can't remember THIS IS SO RECURSIVE)
Anyway it's 8k because wtf and has the standard Matt/Juan package of insults, fist fights, violence, swearing, porn and I guess dubcon? I'm actually not sure how to classify it, sex they have is so angry and weird, they always go along with it as a way to compete with each other. I DUNNO. Also has handcuffs and oral so. ANYWAY.
i may end up posting it on aooooo for real at some point
This came out a bit more detailed than I thought it would, I was thinking it'd be a bit of a quick sketch but I GUESS NOT. You know what's really frustrating, I drew one of Juan's (Juana, I guess) feet like perfectly the first try and then I spent like half an hour on the other one, UGH. ART. FEET.
do you want my thoughts about their ladyversions, well here they are anyway because i've already embarrassed myself enough as it is, why not keep going. Juana looks more boyish and has the same kind of appeal as an otokoyaku from Takazaruka, women just flock to her/fall in love with her by the dozens, her fans would primarily be female. Mattea in contrast (DID YOU KNOW THE FEMININE FORM OF MATT IS MATTEA, I DIDN'T) has an ultra-femme, ditzy airhead persona (JUST LIKE THE GAME, GET IT) that attracts men in droves. SO THEY ARE CONTRASTS YOU SEE. I pictured Juana with short hair and now I wonder if I should've made it longer (or shorter?) here to differentiate her further from her normal canon hairstyle since they look pretty similar but whatever. It's a bit softer and wavier and who says lady versions have to have long hair by default anyway, whatever.
Mattea's hair is much longer though as you can see and she just drapes it over her scarred up side. As a note I didn't expect to spend as much time on her hair as I did and it looks MORE PRETTY THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD AND WHAT AM I DOING
The deep scratches are KIND OF CANON in that Matt claws his face to pieces when you finish his case (SPOILERS??), he can do serious damage with those. SO I GUESS HIS LADY VERSION HAS MANICURED NAILS OF DEATH TOO, IDK
Juana and Mattea as names are so close to their canon ones it's kind of goofy, but those are the legitimate feminine forms of their names, so what can you do.
do you know how hard it was not to completely slather them in blood, it was so hard
OH ALSO this is unrelated but perhaps ancient Phoenix Wright fans can help me here, there was this one old fic on the kinkmeme where Gant was creeping on Gumshoe to possibly get Edgeworth to reveal his feelings TO Gumshoe? Edgeworth was all awkward and weird and at one point gloves were involved as a gift, I think either Gumshoe gave them to him or he gave them to Gumshoe, I forget. I cannot find this for the life of me and I know it exists. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT
