Anyway, news news... ah, Sierra is reforming! Supposedly with a focus on encouraging indie studios/games, and planning on a new King's Quest! I am... cautiously excited about this, but I'm still sort of wary and I can't pin down why. I guess I've accepted Sierra's closure after all this time? Or I wonder how they'd fit in the modern gaming climate. I dunno, I think I'll have a better idea of how to feel about it when there's more concrete stuff out there, possibly. :O
Also, Kojima and Guillermo del Toro are working on the new Silent Hill, and they released a "Playable Trailer" (P.T.) that had a sneak ad for the new Silent Hill at the end (Silent Hills, because I guess names are hard) and while the new protag is YAAWWWWNNNN, the actual gameplay in the trailer looks pretty cool! If the game is anything like this, I'm totally into that. It has a sort of slow, building, ominousness to it that I got from a lot of Japanese horror, it's nice to see that in a Silent Hill again. I do hope the twist is more interesting than KILLEDYOURWIFE or KILLEDYOURFAMILY because YAAAWWWWN again.
I haven't drawn much of anything lately, bah. I did color some more little info chibis though!
Radic and Farnsworth! Why not, I was in a Pokemon mood. It's kind of weird to think about how long Radic's been around. I keep trying to think of ways to update his outfit but I always draw a blank, I am terrible at designing clothes for people |D This ended up a bit wordier than the ones I did for Edgar and Scriabin, woops.
I should do the PGRI doctors at some point, I have the chibis for them lying around but eeeeh lazyyyy
I wasn't looking forward to manually drawing tiny pixel Pokeballs, but then while poking through my font files I found one that was essentially Pokemon Red/Blue wingdings and one of the graphics it had was the corner Pokeball ones! So that made it way easier, haha. I probably should have looked through it for the bottom corners as well instead of just flipping the top corners but oh well. I BET NONE OF YOU EVEN NOTICED UNTIL I MENTIONED IT JUST NOW
