I'm feeling better now! There's no pain really, which is great. Last night it got so bad that I had a bit of a panic attack over it (I was trying to start up Acid Tetris to get my mind off of it and forgot where I put the files, which probably didn't help), although weirdly the pain stopped right afterwards so ( Read more... )

Damn I missed these.

I get this vibe that in her normal life, Mousy had to take a pill or two for her social anxiety or something. With the way she acts and whatnot, it would make sense. Zarla, what do you think?

I think she was kind of anxious and a bit shy and non-confrontational before, but I don't think to the point where she'd have to be medicated for it. The whole zombie apocalypse/losing her husband and family and friends/losing her team/almost dying a bunch of times though REALLY messed her up big time. She's less of a basketcase before all this happened. :<

Before the zombies, she seemed like she needed that more than now, in my opinion. Now it just seems like understandable awkwardness coupled with sympathy stress- albeit an extreme case. You think she was taken hard by the death of her team? I can see she cared about all of them but Mousy isn't (for the most part) a stupid damsel in distress. She knows if someone is mistreating her (Cough* PUA + Gyphon cough*) and should kinda feel glad they can't rather sexually harass her or be a douche.

Though after writing that message, I just had the thought she she's personally going through a mental battle in her head that she likes the fact they can't do anything to her but the fact that they're dead is tugging her brain in two. Hmmm..... So many possbilities, so many head cannon's rushing into my brain...

Well why not!

Mousy + PUA

1. (Pua = Is a bigger asshole than Gryphon) PUA doesn't stop molesting her, hitting on her and ect even though she explained her husband. In her brain, Mousy absolutely hates and feels uncomfortable and a bit afraid of him but she's too nice and afraid to go off alone.
2. (PUA = Asshole but Sparkles isn't) Same as the first scenario but Sparkles beats the shit out of PUA. Well at least to the point of submission and Mousy gains this kinda of new found respect for her.
3. (PUA ISN'T a douche) First time they get rest between levels behind the red doors, PUA starts hitting on Mousy and she explains her husband. As a gentlemen, he backs the fuck off and they become friends sheerly through both of them being extremely lonely. There'd be an aura of awkwardness but zombies kinda of fuck that over ( ... )

Haha I have no sympathy for PUA Guy at all. |D I can see Sparkles not putting up with his stupid Neg nonsense though, that'd be kind of hilarious. Mousey assumes Sparkles is on her side, but Sparkles shuts her down as well, still leaving her mostly friendless. FUN TIMES

*MANY MANY DAYS AFTER THE LAST REPLY WAS POSTED*

I'm kinda with Zar on this one...I have a hard time seeing PUA guy in a sympathetic light. XD (If anything, hearing about Mousey's dead husband would probably only make him try to hit on her MORE. Seriously, there's probably a listing in one of the PUA guides about how to take advantage of grieving widows.)
AND YES, I would love to see Sparkles taking him down, that would be great.
(I kinda imagine that Sparkles would see Mousey more as a subordinate than a friend...though maybe if they were the only two girls in the group for a while, they might temporarily bond over that fact alone.)

But yeah...there have been a few other guys in the Ladyverse that might fit this kind of role a bit better than PUA guy. :O

I think she'd feel responsible for her teammate's deaths, even if they were douches to her. I think it'd be a huge source of turmoil for her actually, like even tho Pro was a huge douche to her, she still feels bad for letting him die and she can't make herself stop feeling either thing about them. She likes to imagine herself as a consumately Good person, someone who always tries her hardest to help everyone and who has a good heart and soul and all of that (feeds into her martyr complex and why she seeks out people like Smoker who don't like her at all - she gets to feel morally superior to her for wanting to help her, and also like a selfless martyr for enduring her abuse). Negative feelings towards anyone would really upset her, and being unable to resolve her feelings towards her dead teammates, and particularly if she deliberately let say, Pro die because he got her husband killed, would weigh on her a lot. But that's sort of my take on it. :o
