~Fun with Mother 3 - Might want to rethink your five dollar security budget

Man people on the GTS are way more generous than I was expecting. I just asked for a Woobat for one of my extra dream ability Pokemon, and a Japanese trainer sent me back a female one with her dream ability! :o You can't even get Woobat in the Dream World, you have to find it in the hidden grottos in BW2, so it's like dang. THIS IS A WAY BETTER ( Read more... )

Oh, nice find. Simple Swoobat seems like it might be able to do some serious shitwrecking. I've managed to get my hands on quite a few dream world females on the GTS, like Dratini, Poliwag and Vulpix, seems like the quality of traders there is entirely skewed between dream world female for whatever and LEVEL 100 RESHIRAM FOR YOUR LEVEL 1 RESHIRAM TROLOLOLOLO

I KNOW RIGHT just one calm mind or two and your stats are through the ROOF
Add that to Stored Power and bzam. Although the hard part is keeping Swoobat up long enough to stack the boosts. TRADES ON THE GTS ARE SO BIZARRE SOMETIMES

I CAN'T SAY FOR NOW but it's definitely sort of a mix of feelings, haha.

MAN IT DOES NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT

I love how happy Duster is in spite of it all. YES MY LONG NIGHTS OF THEIF TRAINING I KNOW WHO I AM
I imagine just having the memories back at all would be such a relief. AND HE CAN REMEMBER ALL HIS FRIENDS NOW TOO HURRAY
That dream was messed up man, I still think about it every now and then.

SURELY FASSAD IS OUT OF THE STORY FOR GOOD NOW i do like how kumatora runs to the edge to look though

Oh man I did, where would I have put that? HMMMM
AHA there it is, jeez this took me a while to find, haha.

Depressing Explanation: The Magypsies are intended to be an unkind caricature of trans women and gay guys who like to crossdress, and the "cover charge" is a reference to Japanese gay/trans bars in places like Shinjuku Ni-chome. A lot of those are basically just social hangout spaces for a small clique of regulars, like Aeolia's house apparently is.

Basically Itoi's just being a jerk, here. Quit upsetting me for non-plot-related reasons, man.

I thought Itoi included them for the same reasons he put people like Duster and Tony in the series - because he knew people like them in real life and wanted his games to reflect that? I know that with Duster he wanted players to think more positively about/be more accepting of disabled people in real life as a result. And we know from Tony that Itoi doesn't think ALL gay guys are flamboyant crossdressers anyway. But I can see what you mean though.

Edit - Aha, found the interview with Itoi talking about the Magypsies! It sounds like from here that he really loves them and he'd want people to be kind to them in real life, and that he has Magypsy friends.

Hey so this has like almost nothing to do with anything, but have you ever heard that "I Love Reshiram" song before? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l7WaCrVrig

That just popped into my head when you mentioned the "dozens of Level 5 Reshirams". I haven't followed anything with pokemon since gen 1, so that song is pretty much the only thing I know about Reshiram.
