man, one of the things i really enjoy about the transformation from old to new tazmily is how like. before the pigmasks arrived, every npc was named. you knew everyone. it really gave you the sense of community, especially from how the npcs all talk to and about each other. all of them have little personalities and relationships with other people in the town.
but afterwards, there's a lot of npcs that are just "man" or "woman" or "punk", and the npcs don't really talk about each other. they just talk about themselves, or the happy box. nobody even acknowledges scamp died. there are a few people that are concerned about leder or wes or flint, like lighter, but characters like abbot just talk about themselves. the old guys are just dumped at a crappy old folks home, and nobody goes to see them any more. that's really sad, and really well-written. LITTLE THINGS...
One has to wonder just where all these new people came from, considering [SPOILER].
Notice: Scamp has died. That is all. I kind of chuckled at that, it was just so casual and abrupt. I'm a horrible person, I know.
Actually, now that I think about it, Lucas has been handling his mother's death better than Flint has.
What happens to Isaac over the course of the game is fascinating. Back in Chapter 1, he seemed like an okay guy. And now he's Fassad's stooge. And it only gets worse from here, folks!
