Did I ever give you links to all my Unova location hunt videos that I took in New York? I know I promised to years ago when we met at that thing and you sounded interested at the time but I'm not sure if I ever did? It was pretty neat. The director of the Pokémon games even retweeted one of them.
Additionally, Pokémon X and Y have so freaking much to live up to IMO merely because they're on the 3DS. I'm not sure if you're familiar with all the 3DS's features, but basically it would be extremely easy for them to have a Pokéwalker style feature built into the game software itself, or available as a built in app.
I'm so behind on Pokémon stuff, I'm almost through the 8th gym on my first playthrough of White (i played through Black back in 2011 and got White as my cart to do replays/challenge runs on) and then I'll finally crack open the Black 2 game I've had sitting on my dresser since early last month. If I play diligently I MAY actually beat Black 2 by the time X and Y come out. If I do they'll be the first new generation of games I actually play from the very beginning since Gen I.
I'm not sure if you did or not BUT IF YOU DO AGAIN I WILL WATCH THEM haha
And yeah the 3DS thing will be kinda weird. :O I've only sometimes played around with Alix's but I'm not really familiar with them on the whole. Tho a in-game Pokewalker option would be kinda cool, haha.
I feel behind too! Almost everyone I know seems to have beaten BW2 already. :O
