Wreck Beach

This Sunday (July 5th) is the Bare Buns Fun Run at Wreck Beach. I'll be there with rainbowk and family. Anyone else interested in coming out? Lots of fun and activities. Body painting is always a favorite!

One of these trips you are gonna hafta save up to come out this way. We do have diving out here! Just watch out for Orcas and Giant Pacific Squid! :)

There's all kinds of sights and sounds we could subject you too! And Wreck Beach would definitely be one of them!

When's the best time of year to travel there?

Depends what you want to do. Skiing is best done in the winter. Actually being able to *SEE* the mountains is best done in the summer, when it's not raining (as much).

If you want rain, drizzle, fog, snow, and a lot of REALLY bad driving, then winter is your season of choice.

If you want beaching, camping, parades, events, sunshine, sunburn, then summer is your season.

YMMV as you may notice a certain bias here.

Truth is, that's pretty much your choices for anywhere in Canada. You need to make a trip up north sometime in the summer. I think you'd enjoy that too! :)

Specifically, probably more towards the end of July and/or beginning of August is usually best. It should be warm enough then that you'll only need a light sweater! :)

Well, I know how cold you get when it's a nice balmy 25°C out there. :)

But yeah, you have a point. No reason to bother with clothing of any kind at a nude beach.
