Chapter 5
While the others are practicing their own dance routine, Keito approached Chinen who sat behind the dance studio, drinking. “Chii..”
“Ah, Katie..” Chinen teased.
“You make me look like a girl,” Keito almost whined. Chinen laughed. “Anyways, can I sit here?” Chinen nodded, as Keito sits beside him.
“Water?” Chinen shoved Keito his drink. Keito grabs the bottle and drink a part of the water. He hand the bottle back to Chinen.
“So, Chii, about what you had said the day before, to Yuto.. I think, you’d got too far,” Keito commented. Chinen chuckled, as there’s nothing wrong in his actions towards Yuto the day before.
“I thought you are aware enough of my sharp tongue,” Chinen said.
“I am, but don’t you think it’s too harsh for you to say it to Yuto?”
“Don’t tell me you’re siding him.”
“Did I say ‘siding’?” Keito returned the question. “I just thought that what you said…is too harsh for a human like Yuto to hear,” Keito said matter-of-factly.
“Then why he’d done all this? Making Yama-chan suffer? Can’t you see how much he’s hurting after that day? Me, I can’t bear to watch him like that,” Chinen looked over the said person who still practicing his dance moves. “Yama-chan is a person who treasures everything. Friendship, love, name it. Anything that made sweet memories to him. It’s not that Yama-chan’s purposely saying like that to Yuto, he was tensed up at that time,” Chinen said, biting his lip.
“Sou ka~ so, you’d said that you were there when they’re fighting, right? Mind telling me? Because I try to ask Yuto about that, but he ignored my request then,” Keito said.
“I’ll tell you..” Chinen gets up when he heard Yabu calls him. Keito made a mental note to call Chinen tonight.
