It'll happen when it happens.

If there is one thing I have heard an undesirably numerable amount of times, it is that choosing a major is something that often just comes to you. Well, I think I may have. Right now I'm signed up for business classes for next semester, along with Greek Mythology and Modern Islamic thought.

I was having a conversation with Cale and Ben about the word "salad days" and how we all knew what it meant. Eventually, it morphed into a discourse on how interesting language is. I then noticed that I was rather intrigued and impassioned as I was able to add intelligent insight to the discussion. I thought back to the linguistics course last semester and realized that was both good at it and I really did find it really interesting!

I then looked at my schedule and realized that I'm blessed with a necessity to take cool classes. I took all my gen eds and am limited to the number of business classes I can take as the program runs 2-3 classes consecutively because they include Gen Eds that need to be taken. So I threw in these two culture based classes in hopes that my interest in linguistics will propagate. If not, I will still be on the business track and won't fall behind.

As an understatement, I'm excited. There's something about the highly philosophical nature of the science that just grasps my attention and interest. Unfortunately, the linguistics courses are not all general sciencific linguistics courses, but are instead geared toward specific cultural linguistics. Still, doesn't change the fact that I have some bomb classes to take next semester.
