i totally forgot to post about this awesome amazing thing! a few weeks ago i went to David Adickes Sculpturworx workshop for a big sculpture unveiling party. David Addickes is the sculptor who built that huge-ass statue of Sam Houston in Huntsville (aka "The Tallest Statue of an American Hero in the US") and his crazy sculpture studio happens to be smack in the middle of Houston.
We went to the unveiling of his latest big project (and I mean big... 36 ft tall and bulletproof) of.... The Beatles!!! Which he is going to place on the side of I-10 somewhere for all Houstonians to enjoy.
