1. I thought Makoto was the most forgettable of the senshis, followed by Rei. I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I tend to like the characters by how I think I can write them - and I usually don't write these two at all.
2. I didn't care much for Jadeite - until I became invested in Hanako. Whut XP
3. I wish Kunzite died without protecting Endy. I mean if Jadeite can die being loyal to Beryl then why can't Kunzite die hating his Master?

Theme-wise, he needed to complete that by atonement and redemption. So you have him committing seppuku (not precisely, but close enough) in the Metalia ritual as atonement, and then throwing away his life for his lord as the best death a warrior can have, which lets him die as a good person - and at peace. Because Kunzite did have ties to that life still, as much as he tried to deny it. He could not have died at peace without being in line with the precepts and beliefs and honor he'd lived his life according to.
It also kind of ties to Mamoru's own character development. Because by showing Kunzite was able to believe in him again, the writers are showing Mamoru has become a person who will put the planet first.

1. I hatehatehate the fact that this show's continuing with the tradition of having sixth/seventh rangers. Nothing against Genta and Juzou but having them and their additional episodes steal the spotlight away from the core group? Do. Not. Want.
2. I think Hiroki Aiba is doing a great job as Ryuunosuke. Sure I was expecting the classic Hoji-like Blue (the spoilers said he will be a loner and stoic!) but he's a character that adds to the awesomeness that is Shinkenger! I think the show will be boring without him.
3. I will forever stand by my opinion/theory that Takeru is a decoy for Kotoha. I will only change my mind at the very last episode :P

1. Natsuki is still my favorite Yellow. I'm all for the times she got kidnapped, possessed, and found out she was a princess! I loved it. Plus the whole angle of an angsty-ridden Masumi becoming her self-appointed brother/lover/protector? OHGOD. YES.
2. I'm kinda surprised that Kaze no Shizuka and Gekkou lived to see the finale, and even encouraged Souta towards the end. I would have thought they would be killed because of their bad deeds, like the others, but I guess they weren't as evil as the others?
3. Eiji is the one I liked the least. I usually find myself ignoring his focus episodes - but I'm sad that he and Souta didn't do anything together in any given ep - well, there was the spa thing but that was with and about Natsuki so, not counted.

1. I hate Takeru/Ial. Give me Takeru/Igam or Takeru/Haruka (yay!) anytime :)
2. I think the ending sucks. It makes sense and gives hope for my preferred couple, but... it must suck to be Takeru at that point.
3. Why must Zeba be defeated so easily and quickly? He was established as soooooo powerful and yet he went down as easily as a regular MoTW >=(

2. Though I do wish Soujiroh/Yuki happens everywhere, I kinda want Akira/Yuki to happen too. It's all about the subtlety and the fct that Akira deserve to be happy too!
3. I think Hana Kimi is overrated. Heh. i was really, really not amused by how crazy people got over it, though.
