The Wedding
Being back in New Jersey was interesting. Mom, Chad and I ran around Palisades Mall on Friday looking for a new pair of jeans for me...I must've tried on abut 10 pairs, and none of them fit right. Frustrating to say the least. We went to Mimi and Poppa's that night for dinner...Chinese Take-Out. We had to go and see them, since they withdrew their acceptence to go to Andy and risa's wedding...because they make mom 'uncomfortable.' Whatever. That was fun. Saw Sam when we got home, went to the diner, which is now completely smoke-free. Strange.
Saturday Dad, Adam, Chad and I went to a Lacrosse game at West Point. Bopped around the PX afterwards, and I found 3 pairs fo jeans that fit. Finally! Met Becky and Rich at the Visitor's Center, picked up a Cadet friend of theirs and then went to a place called Gully's for a drink and some dinner. Played pool after that and got some ice cream before heading back to West Point to drop the cadet off and then to Jersey to drop us off.
The Wedding was fun. Mom got pissed at Dad on the way there...for some reason I don't know. She's always getting pissed at him for some reason or another. Risa looked beautiful. The nightclub was really neat. We had the whole top floor, and the reception and ceremony was framed by the Newark View. It would've been nicer, if it wasn't raining all day, but, what can you do? I got pretty drunk at the cocktail hour and at the reception, but that's ok.
The night ended with mom and dad fighting really bad. I won't go into the details, but it was a terrible ending to a wonderful night.
We got in late last night, and Ruby woke me butt ass early this morning...dumb dog. I'm glad to be home though.
