Temporary Endings
Jesus, I hope the first season won't be so cruel as to end on a cliffhanger. While it might make for fantastic fandom speculation, I just don't think I could deal with 6 months (or so) of uncertainty... Please, no. No, no, no.
In other news, I started re-reading Harry Potter, Book 6, and wow - it's still a great story JKR is telling, but I have to fight the urge to brandish a red pen on quite a few occasions. Is it just me, or could about a third of the book have been erased without much loss? (Then again, I tend to ramble, too. Pot and kettle...)
However, there is Snape. And that makes everything better. Much better.
