I blame the Berry!
Back from my vacation all in one piece, and now everyone is talking about flying monkeys and I’m ducking out of the way because while my Blackberry was kind enough to let me enjoy the Behind the Scenes thing on the train this morning, it really, really did not like the codec of the actual new Merlin episode itself. I’m probably something like the last woman standing, the only one who won’t get to see it until tomorrow night. (Hopefully.)
In addition, work is punishing me for being away for five days and thus threatens to swallow me whole. Speaking of swallowing things whole - no, get your mind out of the gutter, yes, you! - this reminds me of Portugal. The Man’s The Sun (“fixing up to swallow me whole”) and thus the Circus AU soundtrack, and, uh. When I said the final chapter would be up a good week after Chapter 7? I didn’t take my vacation into account. Sorry!
I’m a good 5'000 words into 8, but it will be another 1'500 words, at least. I might manage to finish it up on Friday (if the fact that I have to get up at a quarter to five tomorrow doesn’t kill me, that is) and post it over the weekend, if the betas are really fast and don’t hit me with any big changes.
