without a radio in my car (it broke a month ago), and without a working cellphone (it broke the day after the warrenty was done), i find myself with a lot of time to think. i think about random stuff mostly...i never seem to remember to think about the things i remember when i'm too busy to have time just to sit and think. so, here are some

For some reason I began reading livejournals tonight, and through whatever number of degrees of separation I stumbled upon yours. I likewise have had similar song moments; I returned to Baltimore to find HFS on a different station and only at night, but it seems that every night they play Possum Kingdom, and I remember you introducing me to that song. Now I believe that the "completely out of" thing you mentioned is like a barrier you (general you not specific you) put up as soon as a relationship ends to protect yourself from (m)any bad/unhappy thoughts despite how you really feel about the significant other at that moment. But then later, you remember about the barrier and take it down, but there's no longer any part of you left for the other person, so you feel absolutely nothing. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you meant, but that's just my take on it. On a positive note, I went through that negaitve view faze you mentioned, but now i try to think back on it, and although I seem to remember alot of embarassing/awkward moments, I can't really recall any bad things anymore. By the way, congratualtions on the graduation and the whole college thing. I hope you can look back on highschool not as your golden years but as just the beginning...Hey, I'm trying to be sagelike not creepy, give me a break.
