[Fic Rec] Start Somewhere, by KCScribbler...
I have been truly loving all the magnificient coda/tag/missing scene fic that people have been doing for Season 10. It's such a fun way to explore our understanding of the Show's themes and plots and story arcs, as well as to delve further into the character's headspaces and to explore 'couldabeens'. A lot of the stories have been deliciously dark and I have relished them all.
Start Somewhere by KCScribbler starts off with lots of hurt and ends up with lots of comfort and I didn't realise how much I needed this fic until I read it. If you haven't read it yet, go and give it a shot. You won't be sorry! :)
Summary: It's eight days before they actually speak to each other again. A mysteriously appearing marker board isn't the usual way of apologizing for a colossal screw-up like theirs; but then again, they are Men of Letters.
