Things that have happened...
So, first off, I really have to say a massive thank you to everyone who sent me condolences and kind thoughts when my mama died back in May. I was truly not up to responding individually, but I read and loved every message. Y'all are an amazing compassionate bunch of people and it meant so much to me to have that love and support from you all. ♥
In other (more exciting) news, I had a flick through the J2 Reversebang prompts the other day and thought "Dang, there's some fab art" and there was one that the Muse got quite excited about too, but...I hadn't signed up for the challenge and signups were closed, so I thought, 'oh well, bad luck'.
And then...the art prompt that so excited the Muse WAS STILL THERE THE NEXT DAY AND OPEN CLAIMS HAD BEEN DECLARED!!! I decided it was fate and snatched it up right quick. And guess what? It was by Stormbrite, whose art I generally love and who did two beautiful pieces for me for Quicky bang!!!
Look at the pretty:
Stormbrite was hoping for ex soldiers or spies, guns, explosions, over-the-top action and fun. I've so been wanting to play around in the 'verse I created for Mr&Mr Winchester and this gives me the perfect excuse!
So yes, I am J2 Reversebanging for the first time ever! And mighty excited I am about it too!!
Plus and also, I signed up for SPN Reversebang as well. :D
I posted my Big Bang a couple of weeks ago too. J2 as Gladiators with gorgeous art by evian_fork. The Masterpost is HERE for anyone interested.
And finally...after a few years of making not very much money doing freelance writing I finally bit the bullet and went and did some re-training in the arena of individual support, which is a huge growth area in Australia. I now have a new part time (casual) job working with high needs dementia patients in a residential setting.
In other words, I am now a PCA, just like Milly_gal...but much less experienced, obviously! :)
