What makes people happy? Can we categorize happiness the same way wilhelm wundt wanted to make feelings and thoughts objective through introspection? I mean is it music, friendship, love, and success, or just one of those or is it something more? For me lately it has been the small things. Today I played zelda ocarina of time for N-64 for two and a half hours with wigga and velm. From getting the kokiri sword to learning zelda's lullaby, it was all pure bliss. Nintendo is the easiest way for me to just rekindle those same feelings from my childhood and relax. As good as super nintendo and sega were, nothing touches n-64.
I've also been playing a lot of DDR lately. So much so that when i went to play today my legs couldn't move fast enough. Fatiguing sucks. I want to replace all of my lactic acid in my body with that intravenous serum from Blade. I think it would keep me from overheating and give me vamping ability both of which are almost as good as being a sportscenter anchor. If i ever became an anchor my one catch phrase would be "Not even steinbrenner can pay for that one". It would be effective because i would never have to apply it to yankee players because of their lack of spectacular plays. It's true. Once a player goes to new york he loses his identity. He just becomes another yankee, another championship. Soon A-Rod will be looking more like A-non, while keith foulke is winning the cy young. Gagne did it.
K. Mell made me a CD today. It rocks. I saw her in the parking lot at blanchard (cox had a huge fan club tonight) and she insisted on me opening my car. The sudden urgency to unlock my car struck me as odd, but it all worked out because of the lyrical euphoria.
Jen just called and said march 20th needs to be a free day. hmmm?
I'm all for sorpresas.
If i ever name my house,if i ever own one, i will dub it elation station. Actually no i won't. Being happy'sweet. Assimilation!
