Once again my interest in English football is threatening to go down the pot due to Everton having the shittest luck in the history of the Earth, so it's a good job that Gamba Osaka are back in town, ;D
It has been 57 days since our great win in the Emperor's Cup and tomorrow (tonight) is the Super Cup against league champions Kashima Antlers. In reality, Gamba aren't offering much more hope than Everton, Gamba are also seriously struggling with injuries and got beat by the inbred neighbours in pink last Sunday (D:), at least Everton managed to beat their inbred neighbours (of sorts). Both of our new strikers, Cho Jae-Jin and Leandro, are probably going to miss the match (Cho definitely, Leandro likely) not to mention a few other key players carrying knocks. Then there is our pre-season form; one draw and no wins. Also, the journalists in the know have rated us as 50% ready for the season, compared to Antlers being 80% ready. This does not bode well. :S
HOWEVER! I will still watch and hope! After all, I never expected us to be Champions of Asia this time last year so nothing is certain yet! Maybe we can produce a repeat of 2007 when we caused a shock and thrashed the scum 4-0. :D
FORZA GAMBA! ;D
