another day, another post...
I decorated cupcakes today. Actually it's quite an honour, the cupcakes will be photoggraphed for the course my boss is doing on cupcake decorating. She even let me design a topping, and I can do more of that next week as well.
I like the sense of achievement, the thrill that I have not only become better at my job, but that I am being rewarded with extra responsibility.
What does it say, though, about me, that I crave recognition? I can congratulate myself as much as I want, but it means so much more when soneone else recognises it as well.
Ah well, it spurs me to do better, that's a good thing. Plus I made pretty cupcakes...
It's good TV night tonight, wednesday... Spicks and Specks (drool drool, Adam Hills AND Myf Warhurst), then Gruen and then a new chaser thing. I hope Andrew Hansen doesn't say too much, though, he's a douchebag.
It took me ages to get to sleep last night, my brain wouldn't shut up, and I wans't thinking anything interesting, just blahblah blah.
I saw a sign outside a church: If your mind is too open your brains will fall out. Really? Is that seriousl how you're going to get people to come to your church? The church was in Slurry Hills, too, ridiculously close to Oxford street.
OMG Spicks and Specks came on and Megan Washington is a guest, super drool... She's a bit of a hipster, but oh well, I'm never going to actually meet her, I can perve.
Another Church sign: Don't let christians put you off Christ. Good point, christians are a big deterrent for going to church. Not all of them, I've met some amazing christians who are wonderful good people and their faith makes them better people, how can I argue with that?
I feel like I need to buy Groove Armada just for the song "Paper Romance", also I am loving Ou Es Le Swimming Pool, "Dance the way I feel"
