I am woman... hear me shlorp
Today has started off pretty good. I didn't have any tea so I had to resort to coffee which I love but if you remember correctly make my tummy say WTF! Not really digging this cold weather... hoping that Steve will let me crank the heat up tonight since this morning was rather painful downstairs. At least I got to wear my funky clothes to the Perimter office today: my new fluffy boots with my soft black shirt and grey skirt which is fun. They laughed at me when I came into the office though because I'm looking rather eskimo like. Fished my warm black pea coat out of the trunk of my car and I'm nice and toasty sitting by my window drinking my morning fuel. Here's a picture of my little spot...
Today I was asked to watch one of my bosses kids while his wife goes to the dentist and he has a conference call. In his defense I suppose I could have said no... but I'm meeting with them (again) about my pay increase today and I wanted to get some cool points. His little girl is really farking cute too... so I'm hoping she'll sleep or do something cute... also hoping she doesn't puke on me or do something not so cute. I am not changing any diapers either... that's not in my job description ;).
The Midnight Magnolia Lunatics dance is coming along swimmingly... aside from some minor costume fumbles with getting this shit done so we can practice in them. They will get done just like always with a little bit of blood shed and tears. I'm excited about putting some theatrics into this performance... I have missed theatre more than I knew and to get the chance to act all crazy and give the audience a real show is very exciting for me!
I hear babies... maybe I'll luck out and Jim's mom will watch her. I'm starting to punk out on this little adventure in baby town.
