First "day" of Animation Mentor. Have not yet met my mentor, but it's THIS MAN:

Holy crap, I've watched that man's performances.

In more random news, on the drive home I was thinking about Chrono Trigger, and from there I thought about video game character names, and their pronunciations that my friends and family always disagreed on, which is a thing that practically never happens nowadays, with games being voice acted more and more often.

So, out of curiosity, how did you guys say these names?

Chrono Trigger

Marle: I never knew how to say this one. Depending on the day, I'll say "mah-erl" or "mahr-lee"
Lucca: "Loo-ka"
Schala: For me, it was always "Skah-la"

FF
Gestahl: Pretty much the way it looks, with a hard G.
Celes: I tend to put the stress on the first syllable, rather like saying 'celery'.
Sabin: Short A.
Tifa: Tee-fah.
Yuffie: This is one of my old, now nonexistent pet peeves, because an early translation encouraged the reading of the (katakana-correct) "Yoo-fee" but the final translation made everyone go "yuhfee" which used to drive me up the wall.

And add your own problem names if you want. These were the ones that were just off the top of my head. :D
