What have I been doing in the interlude?

And do you really care?

Probably not.

In any case. I figured out how smart playlists work on my iPod, and they're pretty much the best fucking thing ever. My pod has this thing where, when I put it on shuffle, it decides to be a fucker and keep playing the same songs or songs by the same artist over and over and over. I mean, I have 1948 songs on my iPod atm, how is it even statistically possible for it to play three Dresden Dolls songs in a row? Or to play Hey Mama by the Black Eyed Peas every other song? How???

So anyway, I made this smart playlist that only includes songs that have been played zero times, and I can't tear myself away from it. I promised Steph I'd listen to the new Chili Peppers CD, and I just downloaded a bunch of The Microphones and Danielson and Tapes N Tapes, and I haven't had a chance to listen to any of it yet. But I can't force myself to turn off my darling playlist. Of course, all these songs are included on the playlist, so I'll hear them eventually... *snogs teh list*

I also have two new addictions, besides my iPod: Law and Order SVU and sudoku puzzles. I got addicted to SVU while house sitting at Bill and Shar's, and Steph made the awful mistake of sending me a book of sudoku puzzles, and I've been compulsively playing them for days. So my evenings now consist of scouting for SVU episodes on USA and doing sudoku. In other words, I'm a nerd.

Oh, and Trix cereal is the new drug of choice. Kids cereal is like crack, I swear to Christ.

So what's new, my friends? Do tell!
