ah.. staind rules. do u have their new cd? i can like, relate to every song, just about. but, like, lol, awhile ago, my friends and i were haveing the hugest argument... who's a better song writer, aaron lewis of staind, or marilyn manson. i thought they both rule, and don't get me wrong, cause manson is like... mm... if there's 100 steps to being a god, he's on like the 99th step, but like, for me, i can relate to lewis's words a little better. manson rules, and their music is awesome, but staind's songs mean a little more to me... of course, i didn't hear all of manson's stuff, too. okay.

No, I don't have any of their cd's. I've heard, um, three of their songs, I believe. I really love the live version of "Outside" from the Family Values tour. Although, if I were Staind, I'd hate Fred Durst and would never perform w/ him. But I digress. :)
As far as who is a better songwriter, I think Manson is more unique, and he's more of a social writer. But Aaron Lewis writes songs that are more personal, and therefore easier to relate to. It's like comparing apples to oranges, you just can't do it! They both rock, in my opinion. Also, I really like the Staind songs I've heard, but sometimes the lyrics are just a teensy, tiny bit cliched for me. Not a lot, mind you, cuz I really do like them, but a tad. :)
Have you ever heard Manson's cover of "Rock and Roll Nigger"?
yeah. fred is a big huge as*hole... staind is cool... lol... manson is cool. yeah, they do have 2 different styles...
never heard manson's cover of that song, but i've never heard the original, either, lol. well... yep... mm... okay...
