So, it's October, and I thought I'd make a lame attempt at starting a Halloween meme. Know any good supposedly true ghost stories? I've got one from an old roommate. He was coming back from working into the early morning hours, and sat down in the kitchen to have some cereal. As he's eating, he notices a woman in a red dress standing in the other room. Being in a daze, he doesn't think anything of it. But it slowly dawns on him there weren't any women living in the house at the time. He spins around to look again and - SHOCKING - no woman. He chalks it up to sleep deprivation. He was talking with the landlord later on and he said, "Oh, let me tell you something weird..." and the landlord's response was "Woman in a red dress?"

Any supposedly true stories you've heard about ghostly occurrences? You don't have to buy the story, just have heard it.
