She'd been at the school for a week and what a week it had been. She was first fitted for gauntlets that were supposed to regulate her ability which was awesome. And then it was testing to see where she'd be placed, gradewise. Then it was meet the staff and shopping to get some clothes and stuff for school. Professor Monroe had even been awesome enough to take her to get her hair cut. Short because she still had issue with with actually showering for long periods of time. And to top it off, her room mate had bought blue hair dye. 'Electric Blue' and Nori really couldn't resist, even if that did mean more showering and more water and more hurting.
Now, it was the weekend. It was hot out. She'd been told to stay outside, interract with the other kids but there was a huge problem with that.
Most of the other kids were by the pool. Nori stood just on the edge of the concrete around the pool and sighed, shaking her head. She turned to leave and smacked face first into someone's chest.
God damn it. That was embarrasssing. Nori looked up at whoever it was, ready to either blast them for being in her way or apologize.
She chose the smarter route.
"Sorry. Didn't see you."
