Drive In Movies

ICE AGE The third (?) Ice Age film and it was just as funny as the first. I would definitely recommend this movie. It is not as some people might say 'disney animation', the humor is sometimes directly for adults. It was well worth the time to see it (especially at the drive in).

TRANSFORMERS 2 I really enjoyed this movie. I know it didn't get the best reviews from some people who had seen it. The first movie, of course, was better - but isn't the first movies always better? I actually would say this movie was just as good as the first, although, I don't think the movie is 100% understandable if you haven't seen the first movie. I also found that because of the action (which happens so quickly), I sometimes got confused who was the deceptors and who were the autobots. But as confusing as that might have been at times, it was cleared up and distinguished almost immediately. The scenes filmed in Bethlehem were cool, they were mostly the first 5 minutes of the film. Eastern State Penitentiary also had significant coverage in the film (almost 5 minutes).

The drive in was again really nice last night. The weather was fairly warm, yet when the movie started and the 'lights' went out it did get a little cool. We were going to watch the second movie outside as well, but decided that we didn't want to clean up at 2 am before leaving, therefore at intermission we moved to inside the car.

Next week (either Sunday or Monday) we are going to see UP and Harry Potter again. Not sure after that because I don't know if I can convince K to see G.I. JOE
